Making a Referral

DurhamEnable can support you if you are:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • A resident of County Durham
  • Looking for work
  • Have a disability, autism, mental health needs, or other long-term health conditions.

You can make a self-referral by contacting us to request a referral form, or someone else can do so on your behalf, such as a family member, social worker, carer, or employment professional.

Once we have received your referral there will be a short waiting period before we contact you to set up an initial meeting and register you as a DurhamEnable jobseeker.

To begin a referral for yourself or someone you know, you can download our referral form to fill out and email back to us, or get in touch if you would like more guidance.
